Avalon City Imaging is a fun, vibrant studio located in Adelaide’s CBD. With a focus on making stunning portraits, our team has over 50 years combined experience in creating incredible, customised artwork to keep for years to come.

Located on historic Chesser Street, our three story terrace building has played host to many of Australia’s biggest names in photography. The Avalon City Imaging team is no exception and we are proud to carry on that legacy of beautiful artwork.

DAvid MARKEVICIUS

CREATIVE DIRECTOR & SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

If you have ever been photographed by Dave you will know all about his infectious laughter and ability to relax even the most nervous person. We call him 'Adventure Dave' because no matter where he is or what he does, he turns it into one big adventure.

Dave has been in the industry for over 15 years. In that time he has exhibited his work all over Adelaide, photographed our city's most impressive people and travelled all over the country to create incredible images. He is the founding member of Avalon City Imaging and is the heart and soul of our team. Everyone he meets is blown away by his energy and love of his craft. Dave is a specialist in Boudoir and Fashion photography, with years of posing and lighting experience he is an absolute wizard at bringing the inherent beauty out in everyone.

CAROLINE FREARSON

STUDIO MANAGER, PHOTOGRAPHER & MAKEUP ARTIST

Caroline is the one who holds us all together at Avalon City Imaging. If there is a problem Caz can solve it. She has been in the industry since she was 18 years old, working both nationally and in London as a studio photographer. Not only is she an awesome photographer she is also a fully trained makeup artist and organisational ninja.

Caroline's super power is making people feel super relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. With her awesome sense of humour and years of experience it’s hard not to be put completely at ease. She has a keen eye for design and is an absolute gun at helping our clients select the right images from their photo shoot.

Sam Elizabeth

Digital Design Artist & social media Manager

Sam is a digital design artist with over 10 years experience in the industry. She is a perfectionist and puts her heart and soul into her art, providing clients with her best work every time. Sam loves creating digital masterpieces and is a photoshop whizz. She will blow you away with her skills.

When she is not in the office Sam is working behind the scenes on our social media platforms.

Fay Daly

Digital Design Artist 

Fay is one of our digital design artists that creates beautiful work. She has a diploma in graphic design and has a passion for photography, illustration and digital retouching. Your images are in expert hands with our sword wielding Fay.
